The Great Geauga County Fair is wonderful as always. This year as last I walked around taking tons of photos and, hours later, exhausted, I still haven’t seen everything. It is nuts.
This set is the first I have seen of this phenomenon. This is the donkey dress up contest. If anything this is just a testament to the benevolent temperament of the donkey species, which was pretty well summed up by a quote I heard while walking about:
Miniature donkeys possess the affectionate nature of a Newfoundland, the resignation of a cow, the durability of a mule, the courage of a tiger, and the intellectual capability only slightly inferior to man’s.”
-Robert Green
After seeing them pulled about by young children for a morning, this quote is undeniably true.
